PRESS RELEASE: Lease2Buy raises £2,250 for Scottish Autism

24th July 2015

chequeLocal company Lease2Buy, a flexible car finance company based in Ayrshire, has donated £2,250 to Scottish Autism.  Several of the employees have children with Asperger’s Syndrome – one of a range of conditions associated with the autism spectrum – and wanted to organise a donation which was related to their business.

Bruce Macaulay, Head of Design and Marketing at Lease2Buy said; “We are delighted with the amount of money we have been able to raise for Scottish Autism and would like to thank our customers for their support.  Some of us know the daily impact of having a family member on the autism spectrum, and wanted to do something to help.  Scottish Autism often provides a lifeline for families affected by autism.

Karen Wilson, Fundraising Manager at Scottish Autism, said; “We would like to send a huge thank you to Lease2Buy and their customers for this very generous donation.  We have over 1,000 staff around the country working in our local children’s and adult services, Autism Support Teams, Advice Line, On-line Parent Support Programme, Knowledge Share Seminars and many more.  Any money raised by companies and individuals helps us to support these fantastic services by providing sensory rooms, gardens, therapies and communication aids; enhancing the lives of people affected by autism in Scotland.”
